Rising Chicago rapper Polo G was shot and killed while sitting in a car outside an Atlanta Studio Thurday Morning, He was 22.
His Mom confirmed his death on Instagram: writing, “I woke up to some very horrible news this morning. My Son was killed due to senseless violence, my heart is heavy. May God rest your soul. You were just getting started. We have to find a better way. This has to stop. God help us.”
Columbia Records also shared a statement, saying: “We are devastated by the untimely passing of Polo G. He was a loving father, dedicated member of his community, and an amazing talent that just started to scratch the surface of his boundless potential.”
