Local teen charged with assault and attempted murder

Teen (Sonia Rivera) 14, charged with assault and attempted murder. Because boyfriend (drew Hernandez) 15 was cheating on her with (Amanda Jones) also 15. Sonia (the attacker) Was taken into custody on Saturday night at 11:29 pm. Sonia told the police that Amanda (the victim) attacked her first. When she went to confront Amanda at her house and because of that she attempted to say she was using self defense when she found a kitchen knife and repeatedly stabbed Amanda in the ribs and stomach. Amazingly Amanda Survived the attack and will be questioned when she is able to stay conscious.
