Jane smiled and nodded, “I understand, Mr. Green. I’ll be careful.”
Mr. Green then put up two new signs. One read, “Sliding down stairs is for babies,” and the other said, “Sliding is for slides in the park only. Use stairs for walking.”
Jane giggled at the signs and said, “I get it now, Mr. Green. No more sliding on the stairs!”
