Jenna said, “It’s like ‘The Railway Children’ having the station master in the house, isn’t that right, Dad?”
Dad smiled and replied, “Yes, it is, Jenna.” Then he turned to the station master and said, “I’m sorry, but the trip is cancelled.”
The station master was sad and started crying. “I was so looking forward to it,” he said.
Jenna and Dad felt sorry for the station master. Jenna said, “Don’t worry, we’ll find another time to go. We’ll make sure it’s just as special.”
Dad nodded in agreement. “Yes, we’ll plan another trip soon. Thank you for understanding.”
The station master wiped his tears and smiled weakly. “I’ll look forward to that. Thank you.” he went home back to the station to say the trip is over
