Lois, the pet rabbit

The vet took Lois to his clinic. He rushed her to the operating room. He prepared her for surgery. He gave her anesthesia. He cleaned her wounds. He opened her up. He fixed her broken bones. He repaired her internal organs. He stitched her up. He bandaged her. He put her in a recovery room. He monitored her vital signs. He prayed for her.

The surgery was over. It was a success. Lois was alive. She was stable. She was healing. She was lucky. The vet was relieved. He was proud. He had saved her. He called Dad. He said, “John, I have good news. Lois made it through the surgery. She’s alive and well. She’ll need some time to recover, but she’ll be fine. You can come and see her tomorrow.”

Dad was overjoyed. He said, “Thank you, thank you, thank you. You’re amazing. You’re a hero. You saved Lois. I can’t thank you enough. How much do I owe you?” The vet said, “Don’t worry about that. It’s on me. It’s the least I can do. You’re a good friend. And Lois is a brave rabbit. She deserves a second chance. Just take good care of her. And give her lots of love.”

Dad said, “I will. I will. Thank you again. I’ll see you tomorrow.” He hung up the phone. He smiled. He cried. He was happy. He couldn’t wait to see Lois. He couldn’t wait to tell Brad and Mary. He knew they would be happy too. He knew they would love Lois even more. He knew Lois would love them back. He knew everything would be okay.the vet said how’s tractor dad dad said
