Magog’s grandfather, who was the king of the giants, came down from his throne and greeted Jack’s mum with a booming voice. He said, “Welcome to our castle, little lady. We have heard much about you from your son. He is a brave and clever lad, and we have grown fond of him. We would like to offer you a place in our family, if you agree to marry Magog.”
Jack’s mum was terrified by the sight of Magog and his hundred sons. She tried to run back to the beanstalk, but Magog grabbed her and lifted her up to his face. He said, “Don’t be afraid, my dear. I love you with all my heart. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Please, be my wife and make me happy. I will give you everything you want, and you will never be poor again.”
Magog and his hundred sons bowed down to Jack’s mum and said, “We are sorry for the trouble we have caused you and your son. We have learned our lesson, and we want to make amends. We have decided to share our wealth and magic with you and the other humans. We will also help you rebuild your village and farm. Please, forgive us and accept our friendship.” jack said Magog’s grandfather as not to upset him jack said
