Jack and the Beanstalk

waited for Magog to turn his back, and then stabbed him. He then ran to Magog’s grandfather, who was sleeping, and stabbed him too. He killed them both, and laughed. He said that he had avenged the humans and freed them from the giants. He said that he was the hero and the king. He ran out of the castle and climbed down the beanstalk. He reached his home and told his mother what he had done. She was horrified and scolded him. She said that he had become a murderer and a monster. She said that he had broken the trust and friendship of the giants. She said that he had brought shame and curse upon them. She said that she wished he had never climbed the beanstalk. Jack was shocked and confused. He did not understand why his mother was angry and sad. He thought that he had done the right thing. He thought that he had made them happy and proud. He did not realize that he had lost his innocence and his soul. many years later jack grew old he said to himself
