the enchanted egg
Sly one the gnome found an egg in a bowl and wondered how it got there. He knew that eggs were very precious and rare in the enchanted forest, and that someone must have left it there for a reason. He felt a strange connection to the egg, as if it was calling to him. He decided to keep it safe and warm until it was ready to hatch He said to himself, “You are not like any egg I have ever seen before. Your shell is smooth and shiny, and I can feel a faint pulse inside. What kind of magic do you have, little one? What kind of friend will you be?” he gave it Mr Straw the farmer and said do you want this egg
