John was a careless little boy
you don’t know when a little thing is going to turn into a big thing said dad one day after his new spade had been out in the rain
little boy had a box which he had bought from the greengrocer
he had asked the gardener for four old wheels he pulled his sister Anna in it
its a fine cart john asked dad after six weeks his dad told john your wheel need a new nail knocked in
john wouldn’t’ bother fetching a hammer and nails and do it himself after mum had asked him do get a bag of carrots that morning john said they are three other wheels for cart to run on John got to the grocers and the man put the bag of carrots in the cart it wasn’t very long before the wheel came off
a little dog about to cross the road walked straight on but he didn’t look up and down as he usually did
now the milkman was on the other side of the road with four milk churns when when the horse saw the wheel he kicked up his heels with the man shouting the cart didn’t stop until fell in a canal below
the milkman fell into the water too but he could swim so he was soon out
a policeman why his cart and horse was pulled
