Rupert bear and the coronation

The story begins with Rupert and Ottoline looking for birds in the woods when they encounter two horsemen from Tudor Times. They offer to take them back to their castle, where they are mistaken for royalty by a chamberlain who has locked the real princess in her bedroom. Rupert is barred from entering the great hall by two guards who call him a commoner. The chamberlain is kind to Ottoline at first, but he later reveals his true nature: he wants to make himself Regent in her place. After dinner, he takes her upstairs and locks her in the same room where the real Princess Ottoline is imprisoned. That night, Rupert thinks it wouldn’t do to choose the wrong room and wake the chamberlain. Instead, he sees a kind cat who had lived there ever since she was a kitten. The next day, the chamberlain says to Ottoline: “Breakfast, my lady. I’m sorry you will miss the coronation. I will be made king while you stay here.” “You can’t!” stammers Ottoline. “The people won’t let you!” The chamberlain laughs and says: “The people will do as I say. I have the royal seal and the crown jewels. No one can stop me now.” He leaves Ottoline and the princess locked in the room and goes to the great hall, where he is greeted by cheers from his loyal followers. He puts on the crown and declares himself king of England.

Meanwhile, Rupert and the cat sneak out of their room and look for a way to rescue Ottoline and the princess. They find a secret passage that leads to the tower where they are held. You are a traitor and a usurper!” The people in the hall are shocked and confused. They don’t know who to believe.
