4:07 PM PT — The Sheriff’s Dept. just released a statement saying Polo G was approached by two armed suspects as he left the dealership. They say at least one of the suspects fired their gun, striking Polo G. Cops say they believe the incident was a possible robbery
According to the dispatch call the suspects were described as 2 black males wearing hoodies, and the shooter was wearing a red mask.
The car has been confirmed as a black Dodge Journey, with dark tint and black wheels. Witnesses told cops a Louis Vuitton bag was taken from the rappers vehicle.
The 24-year-old rapper was shopping for a new car in Chicago, Illinois and, as he was leaving the dealer, a gunman ran up to his vehicle and shot him.
