Local Teen Shot and Killed Outside of His Home

14 year old, Jaxon Benfield, was shot outside of his Pocahontas home this morning due to a drive-by. He was shot three (3) times in his torso. There are no suspects at the moment but the proper authorities will give names soon. When you’re outside and see a suspicious car, run inside, even if it’s just a neighbor, friend, or even a sweet in friendly person. You never know when your at risk.
