‘The Little Mermaid’ Director Confirms ‘Ariel Changes’ Will Happen After Backlash to Trailer

The Little Mermaid 2023 movie trailer was released last year by Disney. As expected though, the design of Ariel generated quite a controversy online and on social media ever since the casting of singer Halle Bailey was announced. But recently director Rob Marshall said ariel will be recasted, and auditions for ariel will be held near The Walt Disney Company headquaters In Burbank, California at 11:00 AM.
