Police is still searching for the Katie Leah investagaiton

The Katie Leah death is still under investagaiton. While police say that she died from a gunshot wound, we know who the killer was. It was David LeRoy NerStone, who is 24 years old. Katie was 20 at the time of her passing, and police say that Katie and David knew each other ever since Katie was 15 and David was 19. Katie was from Itaily, she moved away in May 2021 so she could meet him more often. Police say David had a gun about 23 inches long. He was charged with second degree murder and possesion of a weapon during a violent crime.
