Shelby Lynn Yates charged in connection with shooting of a vitcim

The Spartburg County Jail says one person is in custody following a shooting that injured a young girl on July 12. The Sheriff’s Office says Shelby Lynn Yates was the shooter and took her in prison without issues. The 23-year old was then charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of A Weapon during a violent Crime.
