Movie and Card Makers Hallmark Goes Out of Business!!

Whether you have bought a card, or binge-watched some festive holiday movies, Hallmark has impacted most of our lives in some way or another. However, as of August 20th, 2022, Hallmark has officially gone out of business. CEO Mark Perry confirms it as he says to one of our reporters, “Difficult lease negotiations, slowing sales during economic slumps, and changes in the trade area really impacted us during the pandemic especially; we were already struggling, but this is devastatingly definite.” Apparently Hallmark has had to close over 100 stores over the past year, and it’s been coming for a while.
