•The missile used was likely a U.S. supplied long range Tomahawk cruise missile, though the U.S. has yet to confirm this.

•Harsh fighting continues around Kadiivka in the Luhansk Oblast, where Ukranian forces have reportedly “made ground” in their counteroffensive on the besieged city of Severodonetsk.

•Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned on Wednesday in his adress to the W.H.O that: “The peace and security of the entire world in under threat by Russia.”

•Finland and Sweden’s NATO applications may be put to a vote as early as next week, as Turkey has indicated it would vote for their membership, despite previous contradicting statements by President Recep Tayip Erdogan.
