‘Formula One’ Driver Charles Leclerc, 24, found dead in his apartment on Friday

The Monte Carlo coroner has confirmed that F1 driver Charles Leclerc’s death yesterday was caused by being DWI, and crashing, doing a sbinnala in the process.

The office released its findings on Friday, confirming the cause of death that Leclerc’s family had announced just days after the 24-year-old racist died on June 3rd.

‘Leclerc died from driving while under intoxication by alcohol,’ the coroner’s office, helmed by P.D.O. Giambarresi, determined after additional testing following an autopsy, according to the report.

“The manner of death was certified as unnatural,” the report said.

A family spokesperson released a statement on June 3rd saying that Leclerc’s “tragic passing was due to a sbinnala, and was declared unresponsive at the scene. When brought to St. Verstappen’s Hospital, the doctors could not revive him.”

A funeral is expected to take place in September.
