The Reset Lab: Can Forgiveness Save the World

There is no doubt that the planet we live on is warming at an alarming rate, driven, most believe, by the over-use of fossil fuels. Dr. Albert Shushberg , of The Reset Lab, believes that we may be adding to that temperature rise in a few unexpected ways. “When most couples fight, more often then not, one member of that couple, will more often than not, will take to the roads to get away from the conflict in order to cool off a bit.” It’s believed that on any given day, anywhere on this planet, there will be one million cars that will take to the road to find that cool off time before returning home again. “While it may not sound like much, one million cars driving even twenty extra miles per day can increase the global temperature by one-tenth if one degree per year. That adds up.” Dr Shuffberg states. “But maybe the sollution lies in what we call The Reset Principle. I men we are all complex creatures, with complex feelings and emotions that some days we just don’t get.” Shuffberg goes on to say. “Maybe just the simple act of forgiveness, a bit more patience and understanding, can do the trick. Maybe just learning to “reset” can not only keep millions of un-needed cars off the road each day, preventing millions of potential carbon from entering the atmosphere each year, but can prevent a lot of collateral damage.” So, reset and next time, reach for the ice cream instead of the car keys.
