Kane Tanaka Dead at 119

Kane Tanaka has died. Oh so close, but Kane Tanaka came up short. Eiko Tanaka added, “My grandmother went to sleep, and never woke up. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our grandmother, the oldest living person.” Funeral services will be held on April 10th at 4:45 PM Japan Time. After the death of Chiyo Miyako on July 22 2018, Tanaka was the oldest living person. Born on January 2nd 1903, Tanaka reached an age of 119 years 91 days. The Wright Brothers made the first airplane when she was 11 months old. Now, 118 year old Frenchwoman Lucile Randon is the oldest living person. She was born of February 11th 1904 and resides in Toulon, France. Kane Tanaka was 6 days shy from tying Sarah Knauss as the 2nd oldest person ever. We offer our condolences to Kane’s family.
