Police responded to a disturbing call of shots being fired on the 1700 Block of Carson Avenue. When officers arrived, they spotted a 18 year old with multiple gunshot wounds.
The 18 Year old was identified as Jamari Brixton, he was a well known gang member from a gang called “SSB”. Which is short for Southside Ballas.
According to witnesses, Jamari and a few other fellow gang members got into a physical altercation with a rival group. One of the male individuals in the rival group started to open fire on the other crew, which resulted in Jamari getting shot in the head.
Police and Investigators are now opening up a investigation, high possibility that gang unit would get involved in the situation.
