A Tampa Bay area resident playing a round of golf earlier today, allegedly stole the on-course beverage cart and proceeded to try and drive it to his home.
The man identified in the incident was Dalton Yancey, Jr, age 25, from Tampa. Mr. Yancey, Jr. was playing a round with friends at Crescent Oaks G.C. when they dared him to steal the beverage cart. Several witnesses say that they saw someone driving the beverage cart in erratic fashion. One witness who did not want to be identified, stated that Mr Yancey, Jr. drove through several sand traps and was performing “donuts” and “figure 8’s”, all while shotgunning beer and yelling “Whooooo” like Ric Flair. He then exited the gates and attempted to drive the beer cart home.
