At 14:15 GMT, Ukrainian military command told NATO members that the Russian military had begun to commence small scouting operations and skirmishes along the border, attacking checkpoints and being merciless to anybody in their path. Small range, non-nuclear missiles were launches to a border town beside the border, and 37 civilians pf the original 56 were killed, as well as a handful of military personnel.
It is not yet known how the UK Government will respond, however the US Government have issued harsher sanctions on the Russian Federation.
UK Citizens abroad in the Ukraine are currently being evacuated, something the US Government did and kept secret until now. If you are a UK Citizen or resident that is abroad in Ukraine, please quickly go to the nearest airport. A UK military liaison officer accompanied by UK Ministry of Defence police will escort you to a military passenger plane for evacuation back to the United Kingdom.
