What we Learned this Week (1/21)

This week we learned more about Josh Benjamins divorce from his wife Carrie Hoffman. Carrie took to twitter on Thursday to say “Me and Josh have officially spilt due to personal reasons. I thank everyone for their support in our decision.” NFL News Tonight reported last night that Josh Benjamin has been caught with several other women during his time as the NFL President. Josh Benjamins 2 week leave has been extended to 3 weeks as he is taking some “time to heal” as he put it on twitter.

This past weekend NFL fans were saddened with the news about Falcons (retired) head coach Daniel Harr’s passing. Falcons have officially made January, 21st a day to honor Daniel Harr and his incredible works. Josh Benjamin has been meeting with NFL officials on creating a special day to honor Daniel Harr every year. Casey Harr has announced that she will go back to her original last name (Johnson). News came out this week that Casey and her daughter Emma Harr will no longer be in business together. Casey and Emma created a Falcons appeal shop starting Friday this shop will be going to the hands of Emma Harr. Casey Johnson has also stated that she will be taking one month away from her other business inside the NFL. Her NFL business will be starting up February 2nd of 2022.

Erik Barhassa has officially been hired by Johnathan Steam for the Sports Nation case. Sports Nation has announced that they will be shutting down after their rocky 5 years. Jack Holland has announced the lawsuit that was ended in 2021 will be carried out due to NFL officials request.

Can the NFL really do this?! The NFL has announced that James Currik will no longer be a coach. James Currik has officially tweeted: “I’ve been stripped of my coaching job! Can the NFL really do this?!” James Currik’s son Donald Currik has been convicted of robbing a local store in his town in California. Donald Currik has not been fully convicted yet, but its looking more and more like he did it. The big question is can the NFL really do this? The answer is yes, the NFL has every right to remove someone of their duties if there is something that they feel is dangerous or harmful outside of the NFL and their job.
