CBSE has declared online schooling due to the rising amount of covid cases across India. November, 2021.

Many states in India have recorded a spike in the number of Covid-19 cases in the past few days, which has urged them to reintroduce certain restrictions to control the spread of the pandemic, which includes the shutting down of educational institutes.
Almost all the schools and colleges had resume normal functioning in the month of September due to the upcoming annual examinations. Since the educational institutes reopened, an alarming number of Covid-19 cases were reported from schools and colleges across several states.
Many state governments have shut down the educational institutes once again and shifted to online learning. Some states have also cancelled the conduction of the annual exams and decided to promote students to the higher grades.
All schools and colleges in Karnataka were ordered to be closed by the state government on November 26, 2021, due to the surge in Covid-19 cases. The government has not communicated any date for the reopening of the educational institutes yet.
