Ziad Kedkad, 20, Arrested for Child Endangerment Charges – Santa Cruz County

Santa Cruz County, Channel 46 News – 9:53 A.M. in Santa Clara County today. University of California, Santa Cruz Sophomore student Ziad M. Kedkad was arrested on charges related to Child Endangerment. The charges, if found to be true by a jury can carry a minimum of 18 to 26 years in Federal prison. When asked about the pending investigation, UC Chancellor Michael V. Drake did not comment more than “Ziad is a model UC student and represents everything about our schooling system, we stand behind him during this time.” While his family did not respond back to Channel46’s attempts to reach out a verdict will surely be reached soon.
