Cory Devante Williams, known better as CoryxKenshin by his 10 million following fans on YouTube, has been found dead Saturday morning. Suspected by the police as an alleged murder, an investigation is still undergoing to find the true cause of Cory’s death. At 11:00 this morning, a report has been made about a body found at his mother’s Spa. Police arrived shortly and identified the body as YouTuber CoryxKenshin. Fans are devastated around the globe as #flyhighcory has been made #1 trending on Twitter.
CoryxKenshin (born November 9, 1992) is a phenomenal YouTuber who makes entertaining vlogs on ‘Comedy and Gaming’. He has more than 10 million subscribers on YouTube. Apart from YouTube, CoryxKenshin is active on other social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and even his merchandise named CoryxKenshin Merch Shop. His bio on YouTube states “Just trying to live in God’s image. I also play video games. Hopefully, my videos can make some people a little happier.”
Famous YouTuber Markiplier made a statement on Cory’s death this evening stating “It is just sad to see such a young, hardworking life be taken. You will be missed, Cory”. A GoFundMe page has been made recently by his mother, Stephany Williams, in support of the expenses of his funeral. A candle homage will be taking place this Saturday at 4:00 pm in Detroit Michigan, where Cory was born and grew up in.
It is suspected that a murder took place as evidence of a gun has recently been found at 1:00 today. Police are currently investigating the crime scene. Detective Romero of the Detroit Police Department comments “Looking at the crime scene and investigating them can give us differing results. It will take time before we have a true definitive on what caused the Death of Cory Williams but we are working as hard as we can to find evidence to bring justice to him and his loved ones”.
