Poland is a country of eastern Europe. Due to religion influencing its political system greatly, women have been oppressed and had fewer rights than men. Previously, women weren’t allowed to abort children, whether they were raped or the child was dead. However, today, on October 7th 2021, a new law was passed, allowing women to abort their children.
