McCaffrey to be traded to Buffalo

The Carolina Panthers head coach, Matt Rhule announced Wednesday that they are trading away Christian McCaffrey. “We can’t keep paying for his injuries and only get a couple good games from him each season. We love him very much, and wish him the best in Buffalo.” Rhule said in an interview. General manager Scott Fitterer was also okay with the idea of trading McCaffrey.

On the other side of things, head coach Sean McDermott of the Bills is ready to welcome the running back to the team. “We needed a better run game, and McCaffrey seems to be the right fit for our needs.” McDermott told reporters.

McCaffrey was traded to the Bills for a 1st round pick in 2022, a second round pick in 2022, a third round pick in 2023, a fourth round pick in 2023, and Bills WR Isaiah McKenzie.

McCaffrey will play one last memorable game in Carolina hosting the Philadelphia Eagles in week 5. McCaffrey is sad to leave the team who drafted him, but at a conference he said that he wanted a team that could get wins and that has playoff potential.

McCaffrey is a great running back and his talent won’t be wasted with the Bills.
