Bill Gates donates $100,000 dollars to young teen in Bellevue, WA

Bill Gates donated $100,000 dollars to Kai-Wen Wu. A young teen who sent a grant application to him. This grant application asked for funding to make the worlds first compact, all terrain, hoverboard. “One of my supervisors who filter emails for auto-responses was astonished by the design,” said Gates, “he patched Kai’s email through to me and added a note for me to read it.” Bill Gates loved the design and he reached out to the aspiring teen. They spoke about the design process of the board and Gates was impressed by the design. “When I saw Kai’s design, I was skeptical. But being interested, I hired a few specialists to double check the math and it turns out that his math was right!” Gates said. Gates decided to support this design proposal and got on a call with Kai-Wen Wu. They spoke about budget and how to make this product up for commercial purchase. Now a month later, they’ve reached an agreement on what to do and on Monday, September 13th, Gates donated 100,000 dollars to the inspiring troll’s dream. Hehehe
