Sipho Mthimkhulu from Tembisa takes the second spot on the poduim at the 2019 Soweto Marathon .
The young star, born and bred in Tembisa/Ivory , was part of the top 5 Gauteng’s u-21 15km cross country runners . September 8 last year, running his best time of 49:45.
Sipho, who began participating in athletics when he was in Grade 8, won his first race as a first-time time, he came third at the Gauteng school cluster running.
