Parsons to be given £125,000 GK Job

William Parsons, 19 (above) is set to become the youngest International goalkeeper for more than four decades for the Lions, as he dons the gloves for Team Englands upcoming tour against the Canadians in Salt Lake City.

The young goalkeeping sensation has conceded just four from the 7 preliminary games at Birmingham Arena – Saving three spot-kicks, and even scoring from the penalty line himself.

Goalkeeping Coach Michael Cummings suggests that he’s “At the level of peak-performance” now, and not just one for the future.

The contract is set to be worth £125,000 as verified by the EHB (England Hockey Board), England Hockey Board, with the skippers’ sum set to climb to £200,000, depending on performance.
