Police say a 25 year old man named Michael Kearney was arrested after anti Asian hate crime. A Asian man named Bernard Booker was driving his car when Michael Kearney threatened to call the cops on him for so called trespassing after he was driving by private property they got into a argument and Michael shot him in the chest and pulled him out of his car than brutally beat him with a sludge hammer. This beating went on for 15 minutes until he stopped and dragged his knocked out body onto his front lawn. The cops arrested him
Michael: Sir did you read the sign?
Bernard: Yes
Michael: Well it clearly says private property so why are you on it?
Bernard: I’m not on it I’m just driving my car past your house that’s not illegal?
Michael: Yes it is and I’m calling the police on you if you don’t get your Asian ass off my street now!
Bernard: YOU CAN’T GET ME IN TROUBLE JUST FOR DRIVING PAST YOUR DUMP OF A HOUSE AND BEING ASIAN!
Michael(calling 911): Hello theirs a man trying to get on my property.
Bernard (grabbing his phone): THIS IS BULLSHIT!
Michael: don’t touch my phone you fucking dog eater! HEY GIVE ME MY PHONE BACK ASSHOLE!
Michael (shoots Bernard in the chest):
Bernard: OH SHIT SOMEBODY HELP ME I’VE BEEN SHOT!
Michael: Go back to Asia! Chink
Bernard: Get me help! Get me help! I’m sorry!
Michael (Hitting him with sludge hammer):
Bernard: Please Michael! Stop! Oh God! Help me Jesus Christ I’m being beaten up!
(15 minutes later)
Michael: Oh Shit! I gotta go gotta go!
(Running inside of his house)
Luckily Bernard Booker survived the vicious attack he describes it as racist violence and injustice. The 53 year old Asian man was okay but has serious damage in him his head has a crack and fracture in it his arms have permanent scars that are leaving them black and blue his legs are broken. He said he was shocked by this but isn’t surprised
Interviewer: Are you surprised by this attack?
Bernard: Yes and no I’m surprised it happened to me yeah but if I really think about it it’s not that surprising cause we see stuff like this on the news and you know hear about it a lot.
Interviewer: Have you ever experienced racism before this?
Bernard: Oh yes I have when I was 15 years old when I was on a date her parents said they didn’t like me they called me a chink right in front of me and they told me I should go back to China where I belong it was very hurtful but I forgot about it you know.
Bernard: Well once he started giving me shit I was just frustrated but once he said Asian ass I was pissed cause I knew he was a racist.
