On Sunday June 20th 2021, it was announced that the WHITEPINK member GG would be having a comeback solo.
A week after WHITEPINK’s first Coachella performance making them the first black K-Pop group to perform at coachella, JinHit Entertainment released a statement along with a video announcing GG’s solo comeback.
It has been reported that the title track of the mini album ‘Gotta Go’ will be dropped on July 2nd 2021, which is about 1 month prior to the rest of the mini album being dropped. It has been set that the album will contain 5 songs. We are yet to find out the titles of the other tracks, the name of the album or any other information. However, this does not keep WHINKS from being excited for GG’s return as a soloist.
Fans are hoping it will be as good or even better than her previous single ‘Solo’ or even better. Fans want her talents to be further explored and/or have something different brought to the table in the upcoming song or album.
