Big chains such as PetSmart and PetCo are currently giving away their furry friends, hamsters. In particular, teddy bear and panda bear hamsters.
“We just don’t have room for them anymore”, a PetSmart official, Joane Henson said, “With Corona up in the air these days, selling these guys have just been harder and harder”.
She instructed that if you walk into your nearby PetSmart and ask for a hamster, they will give you one of you choice along with a cage that only costs $3.
“We are currently selling the castle cage and the dinosaur cage”, Joane told us, “Your kid and your hamster will love it”.
Sources tell us that the reason behind giving out these hamsters are that as of now, their breeding sources have been struggling lately- and business has been hard.
“We’ll most likely start restocking them for original price”, a PetCo official Henry Iyer said, “So if you miss your chance at your nearby store, next time, you’ll need to pay!”.
