BREAKING NEWS – Juventus relegated from Serie B (It is not the first time though)

Juventus Football Club (also referred to as the Old Lady) has been relegated from Serie A following the controversies relating to the European Super League (ESL: for short) project. This action has been taken by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) as Juventus refused to break out of the Super League project. despite many threats invoked by the FIGC. With this action taken it is the second time Juventus have been relegated on purpose by the FIGC. The first time was in 2006 when Juventus were accused of match-fixing together with several other Italian clubs such as Napoli, Lazio, AFC Milan and Reggina. It is to be noted that only the Old Lady, Lazio and Milan got the boot while Milan and Reggina got point deduction and a ban from European football. It is to be seen what kind of action Juventus will take to turn the tables around but as it stands currently the chances of these happening are very slim.
