16 -year-old Tamar Shalea Patterson was found dead in her bathtub at 2:30 pm. “I was in my room and I heard the shower turn on and for the past 10 minutes, something told me to go in the bathroom to check on her, “ Tamar’s mother says. “ I wish I was a better brother, I know I can be an asshole sometimes.” Tamar’s shocked brother says. Police found a suicide letter written by Tamar just a few minutes before she committed suicide. It wrote “ Please don’t be upset with me, I just wanted to be perfect..I just wanted people to understand me, why can’t anyone understand me I wish I was perfect for people, I tried everything I am stuck in this box, I did not live, I suffered, I did not feel like I was born I felt like I was dead, people took advantage of me and took things away from me they did not deserve I hope I gave them what they wanted, You guys won.. “ I was so devastated when I saw the letter who hurt my baby” Tamar’s family is no longer releasing any more information from Tamar’s suicide.
