“We’re going to bus them out of the city en masse. I’ve had enough. My city has had enough. We all deserve better. They are Seattle’s problem now.”, Mayor Wheeler stated on Thursday at the Portland City Hall April Conference.
Busses are set to arrive sometime in early May, with PPD enforcing members of the homeless population to board. They will then depart to Seattle, where the newly relocated homeless population will be dropped off.
