It is a sad day for all of us… The popular YouTube star known as CoryxKenshin has officially reached 10 Million subscribers. In August 2020, Cory made a cooking with Kenshin video to celebrate 7 million subscribers. He said these exact words: “When we hit 10 million, IF we hit 10 million. When we hit 10 million, I will be announcing my retirement from youtube”.
Cory DeVante Williams[1] (born: November 9, 1992 (1992-11-09) [age 27]), better known online as CoryxKenshin, was an American YouTuber and Let’s Player who also did charities. Some refered to him as “The shogun himself”.[2] He is based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Due to Cory’s personality and the unique edits in his videos, he was able to get a good and active fanbase on his channel.
Cory first joined YouTube on April 26, 2009. In October 2013, Cory played his first horror game, a survival game under the name, “White Finger”. The first game series he made was about the 1994 sports game called “Super Punch Out!”. Cory appeared in several gaming festivals such as Comic-Con International and PAX East, during which he met famous YouTubers such as Muyskerm, Yamimash, LordMinion777, and jacksepticeye. Cory was also known to play horror games, especially RPG horrors, but he also played action games like Bloodborne and Dark Souls. His favorite playthroughs are the videos about Outlast, The Evil Within and Corpse Party.
