April 27th, while on his was to film Season 3 of Umbrella Academy, there was a car crash. He was found on the 401 Highway in Toronto, Canada, at 7:35 p.m. 112 was shortly called after. By the time the authorities came, it was too late.
According to authorities, a 44-year-old male was driving his minivan north when, the vehicle rotated and stopped in the second lane from left.
Aidan R. Gallagher, age 17, was driving his car on the road and attempted to stop but was unable to do so and hit the minivan.
Gallager was pronounced dead on scene.
It remains unclear what caused the minivan to stop in the road.
Highway 401 was shut down at Exit 38. All traffic was being diverted off of the highway.
Toronto Police are investigating. No further information was immediately available at this time.
