Homeless man Dominic Farren, formerly of Donaghmede, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of fellow homeless man Alex Whelan. A fight broke out between the 2 where Farren, 40, stabbed Whelan, 26, with a heroin filled needle in the throat.
