BREAKING: Sesame Street CANCELED for Promoting Rape Culture

After 51 seasons, popular children’s cartoon “Sesame Street” is officially coming to an end, and will not be shown on air again. This came after Democratic Rep. Cal Chuchesta called out the show for Elmo’s unhealthy relationships with female characters. In his words, “The show teaches children that touching and tickling without consent is acceptable, which is a toxic message to teach the future generation”. He goes as far as to blame today’s rape culture on the “cruel and outdated ideals” taught by the red puppet and his friends. Twitter users quickly created a movement, and after #DontTickleMe went #1 on trending, PBS took quick action to cancel the series for good, saving them from public backlash.

The cancelation has sparked outrage from the right, with prominent figures like Texas Rep. Iain Armitage claiming the movement was “absolute blasphemy” and calling for a reversal. “At this point, nothing is safe from the radical left’s hypocritical standards” claimed South Dakotan Senator Earl Joseph Smith III.
