American actor model, activist and director Ian Somerhalder, known for playing Boone Carlyle in the TV drama Lost, Damon Salvatore in The CW’s supernatural drama. The Vampire Diaries Fans showed huge grief upon his passing, concluding he didn’t deserve it so early on.
Somerhalder’s death officially confirmed on Fox News by his family on Tuesday 16th February 2021 23:49. The cause of death rumoured to be “severe food poisoning” is doubtable as doctors are yet to confirm whether it was his sandwich that led to his tragic death. With this say yet another remarkably talented soul leaves this world.
“It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Ian,” a spokesperson said on behalf of the Somerhalder family. He passed away in his sleep after consuming a false cheese sandwich earlier during the month. However, the death is likely due to a possible seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition after his food poisoning earlier this month, for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.
“We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother” declared Ian’s parents
His wife Nicki Reed is at a loss for words after her recently passed by divorce as an aftermath of death threats received from Delena fans. She continues to express her grief by her words “I can’t believe he’s gone”. We shall continue to keep you updated through this tough time.
