‘Rainbow Six Siege’ to be entirely reworked

Rainbow Six Siege, a realistic first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal is to be redone and recreated entirely. In place of the ‘bomb’ gamemode, there will be a ‘gas leak’ gamemode in which the player(s) on the attacking team is required to capture a radioactive container, take it to a helicopter, and prevent a gas leak. They, however, are not safe. The player(s) on the defending team is required to make sure the attacking team doesn’t capture the container at all costs. In place of the ‘hostage’ gamemode, there will be a ‘politician capture’ gamemode in which the attacking team must extract multiple politicians being held in a building by terrorists after they assaulted The White House. The defending team, the terrorists, are to stop the attacking team from rescuing the politicians. All ‘operators’, the in-game characters, including the basic operator, ‘the recruit’, will be reworked with new appearances, new guns, new devices, new gadgets, and new lore. The rework will be launched by Ubisoft Montreal on 5/14/2021.
