Creator of Minecraft Markus Persson Dies at 41

Markus Persson, 41 died today at 1:30 of cancer his ex-wife Elin Zetterstrand wanted to keep his disease a secret but told our studio today. Persson was hospitalized on Jan. 10, 2021 and wanted his hospitalization a secret too. He was hospitalized at Beverly Hills Triangle Medical Plaza. He remained in the hospital up until his death. He is survived by his wife Elin Zetterstrand, his daughter Minna Almina Zelda Zetterstrand, his sister Anna Hemming Froeberg. He is preceded in death by his father Brigger Persson.
