Country Singer Morgan Wallen dies of suicide at 27

Up and coming Country Singer-Songwriter Morgan Wallen has died after attempting suicide. He was 27.

Police in Nashville, Tennessee says Wallen who was named the CMA Awards Best New Artist this past year Hanged himself following constipacy after saying the n word at his home in Nashville, Tennessee. Which caused it’s recording contract to be suspended indefinitely and it’s music being pulled off the radio along with appearances on CMT.

Wallen’s most recent album Dangerous: The Double Album debuted at #1 atop the Billboard 200 and it’s currently charting at #1 for three weeks.

He was a contestant on NBC’s The Voice doing Season 6 and has released several albums and singles including the album If I Know Me, with hit #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.

Wallen now joins a series of musicians who died at the age of 27 which is known as The 27 club, members include Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones, Jim Morrison of The Doors, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and Amy Winehouse.
