Minnesota Governor Tim Walz To Extend Fishing Opener Till Late June

As the coronavirus continues to spread across the state, officials worry that the virus may be transmittable via watercraft. This has anglers across the state worried that their favorite pastime may have to wait this upcoming spring. The government has been quoted saying this “if a human can get the virus, so can a fish”, as tensions between anglers and politicians arise, we may even see more delays in the future.
