CHICAGO-Police are investigating after a 15-year-old boy (Darrel Mckinzie) was killed in a shooting on South Shore Dr on Monday night, according to the Chicago Police Department. Investigators said they are looking for two adult suspects.
The shooting was reported around 7:26 am on the 75th South Shore Dr.
Police said officers responded to reports of a body lying in the street. Police said the 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the shooting is unknown and no arrests have been made. According to HPD, preliminary investigation indicated there are at least two suspects in their late 20s.
