Charli D’Amelio was a 16 year old influencer on the famous app TikTok. She amassed over 100M followers on the platform before her tragic death.
Charli had visited the Bahamas with friends, violating Covid-19 restrictions. Soon, however, her friends would find out Charli was infact dead in their hotel room, with a self-inflicted gunshot located on the side of her head. She was found by her close friend Chase Hudson, also known as Lil Huddy on Tiktok. The young girl had locked herself in the bathroom at approximately 12:40pm, and had shot herself with a pistol 3 times before passing away from her fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The autopsy performed on Charli had also showed that she had taken 7 pain killers the night before in a failed overdose attempt. She also had wounds on her arms, showing signs of self-harm.
Users of TikTok were sending death threats and telling her to suicide after a video was uploaded to YouTube, which depicted Charli and her sister Dixie being disrespectful at the dinner table. Please think about your words before you say anything.
This is a fake article, however it shows just what could happen if you send death threats or hate to people. Never tell anybody to suicide. It’s really mean. I’m trying to spread a message that people need to be nice, or else it could end up in someone dying. Think about and read what you’re saying carefully before you say anything or post anything online. You don’t know how much it hurts you until you do drive someone to die.
