Mikhail Tariq a 14 year old boy was walking on Bell Lane, Little Chalfont when he was stabbed to death.
The incident happened at approximately 16:58 as the boy was walking nearby his home when he got into a verbal altercation with another individual, which quickly escalted into punches being thrown. Adam Hafeez was left on the floor with a broken jaw and a bloody nose.
About 5 minutes later Mikhail was spotted on CCTV walking down Elizabeth Avenue when he was cornered by two male suspects Adam from earlier and his older brother Usman Hafeez. The CCTV footage shows Usman and Mikhail exchanging some words seconds before Usman pulled out a 13 inch machete and stabbed Mikhail in the chest and stomach multiple times.
Cameras show Usman and Adam running away escaping into a car. The Thames Valley Police investigation unit followed the car by CCTV assistance and found the two boys hiding in a house on Chesham Broadway. The boys have been taken into custody and are awiating further investigation.
Adam said to one of the officers “It was only self defence, he beat me up earlier.”
Usman had nothing to say to the Police or Detectives.
Mikhail Tariq was pronounced dead at the scene.
